Dr Winfried Sedhoff graduated from the University of New South Wales in 1987.
He has been with Kedron Wavell Medical Centre for over ten years and has over 20 years of general practice experience.

Dr Sedhoff has a special interest in mental health and especially in helping people overcome depression and anxiety-related disorders. He prefers non-medication modes of treatment and is keen to work with patients, in collaboration with specialists and allied health professionals, to achieve the best possible long-term outcomes. Winfried recognises often the hardest first step to getting better is seeking help.

Dr Sedhoff has completed his advanced general practice training in mental health and is the author of a book, ‘A Balance of Self’. The book is aimed at promoting mental health and well-being.

Dr Sedhoff provides counselling sessions to patients, offering both 30-minute and 1-hour sessions. These sessions are separate from government-subsidised visits to psychologists and are easily accessible for your convenience. Please contact us for more information on fees.
